All those who have been stuck in the kitchen hacking uselessly at a chicken will be glad to hear that Claridge’s will be teaching the art of carving this October, in plenty of time for Christmas! One of Claridge’s carving experts will explain the best knives to use, at what temperature to carve the meat and all the other tricks of the trade that will make you the perfect dinner party host. There will be demonstrations of the different techniques used to carve chicken, turkey, legs of lamb and smoked salmon, and also the chance to practice yourself.
