This is a two-bedroom suite with an extraordinary past.

It was here in 1945 that the exiled Yugoslavian royal family welcomed Crown Prince Alexander into the world. Winston Churchill even had home soil placed under the bed, and declared the room Yugoslavian territory – for just one day.

Today, the interiors reflect this illustrious history. Gold leaf accents, velvets and hand-embroidered silks set a palatial scene. French wall mouldings and features inspired by the Yugoslavian coat of arms sit alongside Victorian-era garlanded acanthus plasterwork.
