Ballroom

Step through the private Brook Street entrance and into a space that glimmers with art deco style. Over the years, this English Heritage-listed ballroom has played host to society weddings, state banquets and magnificent balls. And now, following an extraordinary restoration, the Ballroom has been returned to its original splendour – with contemporary touches to elevate any occasion.

Retracing the long lines of the Ballroom’s Roaring Twenties design, the restoration unexpectedly unearthed an authentic, three-tiered ceiling, concealing soft lighting that washes gently across the room. Chandeliers and mirrors have been hand-crafted to reflect the grandeur of the age, columns and pilasters have been re-gilded in delicate Palladian Leaf, while striking art deco motifs return to carpets and curtains.
