Claridge’s wine dinners pair a sensory education with a delightful social occasion held in our private dining room or Reading Room.
Each dinner showcases a different champagne house or wine domaine, giving you the opportunity to taste five different cuvées or vintages. The evening begins with canapés and your first glass to taste, followed by a four-course dinner specially created by Executive Chef Martyn Nail.
Your expert host will introduce the wine or champagne for the evening and describe the food pairings, before your dinner gets into full swing. Throughout the experience, relax and enjoy stories about the history, traditions and personalities woven into the life of a winemaking château.
Our wine and champagne dinners are limited to a maximum of 16 guests.

Champagne Charles Heidsieck, 17 May 2018
Charles Heidsieck is one of the most admired champagne houses thanks to the unrivalled and consistently high quality of its wines. Founded in 1851 by the man who would become known as ‘Champagne Charlie’, this family-owned house is the smallest of the Grandes Marques.
Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, 11 October 2018
Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is one of the most famous vineyards in Bordeaux. The exceptional character of the wines produced here is distinguished by their elegance and finesse.
Champagne Cristal & Louis Roederer, 8 November 2018
Champagne Louis Roederer was established in 1776 and today has over 240 hectares of vineyards located exclusively in Grands and Premiers Crus villages. The ultimate Cuvée de Prestige, Champagne Louis Roederer’s Cristal was first created for Tsar Alexander II of Russia in 1876. Today, Cristal is released after six years ageing in the Reims cellars and is the benchmark for luxury champagnes.
Champagne Salon & Delamotte, 22 November 2018
Arguably the rarest of all fine champagnes, Salon is the legacy of one man: Eugène-Aimé Salon, a champagne fanatic who devoted his life to creating the quintessential champagne we now know as Salon. Sister house, Champagne Delamotte is not only one of the oldest champagne houses, but also, arguably, one of the most refined in style and pedigree.
