Made, of course, from the finest of ingredients the collection evokes the glamorous age of the deco period, the bias cut silk flapper dresses, the satin mary-janes, the dressed hair, sequins and pearls. Inspired by the Art Deco heritage of the hotel, the stylish black & white packaging is finished off with a thread of silver and a hint of deco green. The bottles are topped with silver Art Deco caps, which mirror the taps in Claridge’s bathrooms, the jars are sleek, black and glossy.

Each product has been designed with luxury and opulence in mind. The cream is rich, emollient full and includes aloe vera, caviar, Siberian ginseng and extracts from sacred lotus and white tea. The skin is nurtured, pampered and protected. The bath oil contains avocado, jojoba and sweet almond oil. It moisturises and conditions and is excellent for stressed and dehydrated skin. The soap is a very mild formulation, made from glycerine and containing coconut, palm and castor oil and Caribbean cane sugar. It is based on a recipe dating from 1907.
The fragrance running throughout the collection is Claridge’s signature scent launched in 2002. It is an extravagant ‘chypre’ fragrance blended from key ingredients including Turkish rose, Indian jasmine, Russian wild coriander and middle eastern, agarwood bark.
