      This is the English afternoon tea of your wildest imagination. Situated in the Foyer and Reading Room, everything is perfect from the glamour of the Art Deco interior to the live music and quintessentially English menu. It's little wonder we have consecutively been given an Award of Excellence by the Tea Guild.

      Served daily 3.00pm, 3.30pm, 5.00pm or 5.30pm
       

      Dress code:       Elegant smart casual; no shorts, vests, sportswear, flip flops, ripped jeans or baseball caps.

      We apologise that due to the high demand for afternoon tea at Claridge’s we have no capacity for further bookings until the end of August 2013 and limited availability within September.
      We regret that currently afternoon tea reservations will only be taken for the month of September 2013. From 2nd September 2013 Claridge’s afternoon tea reservations will re-open and can be booked up to three months in advance only.

      Classic Afternoon TeaServed on fine china in bold jade and white stripes, this utterly English meal is a mouth-watering experience.

      There is a wide selection of teas from regional English to rare blends and herbal infusions.

      £45 per person - Please note a 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to your bill.

      • a choice of almost 40 teas from all over the world
      • a delicious array of finger sandwiches
      • freshly baked raisin and apple scones with Marco Polo jelly and Cornish clotted cream

      Champagne Afternoon TeaA traditional English afternoon tea doesn’t get more luxurious than when served with a chilled glass of champagne.

      Includes: floral pastries, camomile and raisin scones, traditional sandwiches with addition of: raspberry, rose and lychee confit on milk bread and orange blossom, passion fruit and mango on milk bread.

    • Lawn Tennis

      24th June - 7th July 2013
      Includes: french pastries, traditional scones, traditional sandwiches, strawberries and macaroons.

    • Christmas

      25th November 2013 - 2nd January 2014
      Includes: french pastries, traditional scones, traditional sandwiches with additions of turkey, Christmas cake and stollen.

      During the weekends guests can also enjoy Christmas carols in the Foyer.
