      AA Hospitality Chef of the Year

      Simon Rogan has been awarded Chef of the Year in the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards 2016, held in London on September 26. This coveted accolade is the latest in a line of successes: Fera at Claridge’s was awarded London Restaurant of the Year and Overall Restaurant of the Year at the 2016 Food & Travel Magazine Awards; and it was also ranked #12 in the Good Food Guide Top 100 Restaurants 2017. Simon Rogan’s sister restaurant, L'Enclume, topped the list for the fourth consecutive year.

       Ruinart at Claridge’s Bar

      Claridge’s Bar is delighted to present the champagnes of Ruinart, the first established Champagne house in 1729. Ruinart is all about elegance, subtlety and freshness, with its distinctive signature of Chardonnay, the house’s emblematic grape variety. Five different cuvées are available by the glass in Claridge’s Bar until the end of October.

      Claridge’s wins award for best traditional afternoon tea

      The best places in London to enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea have been named in the Afternoon Tea Awards 2016 and Claridge’s has proudly taken home the title of ‘Best Traditional Afternoon Tea’. Over 30 of London's finest hotels and restaurants were shortlisted for the awards sponsored by afternoontea.co.uk, which recognise the best in afternoon tea service and creativity.

      Fera at Claridge’s wins wine award 

      We are delighted to announce that Fera at Claridge’s has won a prestigious three-star award in World of Fine Wine’s 2016 ‘World's Best Wine List’. Over 4,500 wine lists from around the world were judged by a panel that included leading international wine critics and sommeliers, such as Alder Yarrow, Elin McCoy, Ch’ng Poh Tiong, Andrew Jefford, Andreas Larsson, Francis Percival, and Editor Neil Beckett. Only 322 restaurants were recognised for the top-tier three-star award.

      Claridge’s Choreographer In Residence

      Award-winning professional ballroom and Latin dancer Marius Caluser has been appointed as Claridge’s first-ever choreographer-in-residence. Available to couples choosing to hold their wedding ceremony at Claridge’s, Marius is on hand to guide our couple through a uniquely choreographed set for their first dance, offering anything from an elegant waltz or foxtrot to a passionate tango or rumba.

      Aulis At Fera Open Their Doors To More

      By popular demand, Aulis at Fera has extended their opening days to now include Wednesdays. Headed by Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan, the dining concept at Fera at Claridge’s gives guests the opportunity to taste a procession of dishes in the development kitchen turned private dining room before they go on to the menu at Fera . Aulis can also be booked privately for up to six guests.

      Aulis at Fera opens at Claridge's

      Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan has launched an exciting new dining concept at Fera at Claridge’s. Aulis has two purposes: it is a development kitchen for chefs to explore new dishes and cooking techniques, and also a six-seat private dining room which gives guests an insider look at the complete creative process. Taste a procession of dishes before they go on to the menu at Fera, and have fun interacting with the chefs. Aulis can also be booked privately for up to six guests. Influential food blog Hot Dinners described it as one of the hottest tickets in town… ‘Cementing our belief that Fera is a restaurant very much at the top of its game at the moment, and Aulis the very best way to experience it all up close.’

      Visit the London Art Fair with Claridge’s

      We’re delighted once again to be partnering with the London Art Fair 2016, to offer guests staying between January 19 and 24 complimentary tickets to the UK’s premier showcase of modern British and contemporary art. The fair takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, with VIP previews on January 19 followed by five days of immersive art viewing. Over 100 galleries will present work, and the Jerwood Gallery is the 2016 partner museum, bringing important pieces from its collection by artists such as Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson, John Piper, John Tunnard and Christopher Wood.

      Food & Travel Reader Awards 2015

      In September 2015 Claridge’s picked up the award for City Hotel of the Year 2015 at the prestigious Food & Travel Reader Awards (a top glossy lifestyle title). The hotel was up against stiff competition from other London hotels including the Berkeley, Ham Yard and the Mandarin Oriental, but ultimately Claridge’s was the winner – a great achievement.

      New Terrace Suites 

      High up over Mayfair, Claridge’s has six special suites with private terraces, offering rare outside space to relax, have breakfast, enjoy a glass of champagne, catch up on correspondence or meet a friend, inspired by fresh air and views of the redbrick streets and ‘Mary Poppins’ rooftops.

      Fera at Claridge's hosts winners of World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards 

      The winners of the 2015 World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards were entertained to dinner at Fera at Claridge’s the night before the awards were made at Guildhall on June 1, 2015. Among the attendees was Helene Darroze of the Connaught, voted World’s Best Female Chef.

      Sixth Floor Event Spaces 

      Claridge’s sixth floor event spaces are currently being redesigned by world renowned designer Linley and are set to open in mid-January 2015. The four function rooms will feature wall panelling in walnut and leather, and bespoke Linley furniture referencing the hotel's signature Art Deco style.
