Executive Chef in Claridge's Foyer and Reading Room is the talented Martyn Nail.
Martyn started work at Claridge's in 1988 as Third Commis Chef under Maître Chef des Cuisines, Marjan Lesnik and later under John Williams.
The Foyer and Reading Room was gloriously restored by internationally-acclaimed architect and designer Thierry Despont in 1999.
Its centrepiece is a magnificent silver-white light sculpture by Dale Chihuly. Created from more than 800 individually hand-blown glass pieces, it hangs from the 18ft high ceiling.
