Wine Dinners

Claridge’s wine dinners pair a sensory education with a delightful social occasion held in our private dining room or Reading Room.

Each dinner showcases a different champagne house or wine domaine, giving you the opportunity to taste five different cuvées or vintages. The evening begins with canapés and your first glass to taste, followed by a four-course dinner specially created by Executive Chef Martyn Nail.

Your expert host will introduce the wine or champagne for the evening and describe the food pairings, before your dinner gets into full swing. Throughout the experience, relax and enjoy stories about the history, traditions and personalities woven into the life of a winemaking château.

Reservations

Our wine and champagne dinners are held in the Reading Room where tables can be booked for 2, 4, 6 and 8 guests. The Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is held in the Private Dining Room and is limited to a maximum of 16 guests.

11 October 2018: Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande - £300 per person
8 November 2018: Champagne Cristal & Louis Roederer - £300 per person
22 November 2018: Champagne Salon & Delamotte - £350 per person

Champagne Louis Roederer was established in 1776 and today has over 240 hectares of vineyards located exclusively in Grands and Premiers Crus villages. The ultimate Cuvée de Prestige, Champagne Louis Roederer’s Cristal was first created for Tsar Alexander II of Russia in 1876. Today, Cristal is released after six years ageing in the Reims cellars and is the benchmark for luxury champagnes. This dinner is held in the Reading Room.
